MY APPROACH

I provide solution-focused counseling tailored specifically to first responders and their families, empowering them to overcome challenges and live their best lives.
I specialize in working with those experiencing compassion fatigue, trauma exposure, grief and loss, and anger management. My approach to counseling is holistic, addressing the intersection of the mind, body, and spirit to achieve a more balanced life. I provide a safe, judgment-free space where first responders can unload their thoughts and feelings, openly discussing the complexities of integrating work, home, family, and friends.
I work from a collaborative, humanistic perspective, walking beside my clients on their journey of self-discovery and healing.
Through our sessions my clients become equipped with the knowledge and tools to successfully navigate the social dance of first responder life, and to navigate challenging transitions, finding a renewed sense of purpose, and meaning in their lives.
In addition to my work with first responders, I also provide counseling services at a local senior citizens community center. As people age, they may experience a variety of life-changing challenges, including the loss of loved ones, declining physical and cognitive health, and social isolation. These issues can be overwhelming and leave seniors feeling alone and lost. Through counseling, I provide a compassionate and supportive space for seniors to explore their feelings, process their experiences, create coping strategies, and find a renewed sense of purpose and meaning as they move through their later years of life.
Please note I don’t currently offer psychometric testing, court, witness or mediation services or back to work assessments.
